am proud of my daughter.
she has been busy these last few months crafting items to start her own crafts business.

you can take a look at her items at

http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=108405

She named her little shop
"She Sews by the Seashore"

(she is only 15..and I have been encouraging her to start her own business)

I will Sunshine..thanks gals.
We gor her set up with a checking account now and debit card of her own..trying to steer in the right directions financially so that she can learn to take care of herself one day.
Giving her the skills she needs to be able to spread her wings and soar..just hoping that she doesn't soar too far from home though cause she's certainly a sweety..and I'd miss her tons....sigh..they grow up too fast..but we have to teach them skills that they can take with them.

hi Laura, it is somewhat like ebay..not that difficult to get set up with at all.
next week the listing rate goes to 20 cents as the site is going through some revamping..
thanks for taking a look at Naomi's things.

Hi Tina,
your daughter's things are great! how proud you must be.. the etsy.com shop was that hard to set up?? Is it sort of like ebay? they take a 3.5 % commision I see & the listing fee .10 is very reasonable. I never heard of etsy.com & I was checking out auntjenny's items earlier..
thanks for any info!

Tina,
Please have your daughter save the FIRST CHEF TOWEL with the fringe, for me, I won't have my new credit cards for a few days yet. Unless you want to mail it out to me and I will mail you a check. Whatever you want to do.

Oh Tina, good for her! :)

The denim hair is pretty cool. How neat to see her creativity blossom. :)
