Just finished registering and paying for a vendor stall spot for our local Muskie Days in Nevis, MN. They have their town celebration on July 19 & 20 this year. I have only had a booth at one other event as more of a tester to see what kind of opinions we could get on our products and what kinds of things people would like to see. I had a lot of peeps that wanted frogs (painted garden rocks). Have a small stash of them made this year. I'm super nervous, but excited. My hubbie and 3 kids will be with us as my babysitter (grandma) is in the parade driving her restored ambulance (think ghostbusters vehicle) which is painted red and named the "Plant Mobile" for her Rhodes Garden Center. Its always a lot of fun going to all the vendor stalls and its awesome we'll be apart of it this year. Last year they had a pet an alpaca stall, a stall with items made from llama hair, stalls with candles, stalls with jewelry, stalls with shirts, one with baseball card collectables, and more. We noticed no one had anything related to gardening. Closest was a couple who did metal art and happened to have some small pieces that were yard decor. I'm really hoping we found our niche. My hubbie even made a bunch of birdhouses to sell. Super excited and bubbly, just had to share!

I posted some pictures on our facebook page from Muskie Days, first link below. We signed up for Uff Da Days at the end of this month too. So far great responses about our products and enough sales to make em worth it.

Jonni, that's one thing I forgot to do last year at the small event I went to.. take pictures. This year my hubbie should have some nice display shelves for me and I'm hoping to have a more diverse selection. Muskie Days always has a nice crowd and its bigger then the Uff Da Days event we did last year. So hopefully it will take off. So... off to paint and seal more rocks... this time ladybugs and bumblebees.

Chantelle, sounds like great fun and, I hope, a great success for you and your garden booth! You just never know who might not be able to go home without one of your cute painted rocks!!!!

Make sure you take pictures!
