I'm so thrilled!! I made a necklace, took several days to get it 'just right'. Took some pictures and put up. A friend on FB saw it and bought it!!

MY FIRST SALE!! WHOOOO!!!

The downside?? Heh, I feel a little stoopid but I didn't realize Paypal took a smidge of the money they send you. Yeah, it was prolly in all the legal stuff, just didn't think of it when I quoted her a price! That's okay, though, I seem to ONLY learn when I do something 'wrong' then it's ingrained in my silly head. I'll remember it from now on!!

If you look on my FB link below, it's the Butterfly Necklace.

WOO HOOOOOO!!!

Congratulations! Isn't it a great feeling? You have many more coming from the looks of your site. Such nice things with such reasonable prices.
My BFF is a watercolor artist in NH whose paintings sell for $250-$600. I told her one day that I was an artist (I do many things but this time I was speaking about my jewelry). She said "Joey, you don't just wake up one day and decide you are an artist." So I asked her what makes someone an artist? and she replied that she guessed it was when you sold your first thing-when someone you are not related to paid actual cash money for your thing. You BET I called her when my first piece of jewelry sold and said "OK, now I am an artist. My Dh and I both make and sell our jewelry and we love it. Even if it never sold, it is so different from being a nurse and it relaxes me and makes me smile. Wishing you TONS of sales. Joey

Congrats!
Yeah, pay pal doesn't do anything for free! But well worth it to have instant cash!
Good luck, hope you make many more sales!
