I am a city girl with a farm girl heart. My hearts desire is to start an indoor, outdoor food coop. People need to be able to purchase great food from the local organic farmers and it is very important to me to be able to support the local farmers. I am only one person and not sure how to go about such a big project. Also the Lord has made it clear to me that He wants me to help feed people. That is not a problem, I just want to be able to feed them good food. Any suggestions or ideas? Plus I need prayers too. Thank you for all of your help. I live in Plano Texas.

While researching how to start a Farmers Market I came across this site and LOVED the ideas and tips about CO-OP's:

I hope your dream comes true.

I'd start with research ... that is really the first thing to do. Then you have to try to find the outlet for the food, location, will it be private and members pay a small fee? Or will it be an open co-op?
Just research on line and your area ... Good luck with your co-op.
