Posted - Jul 18 2012 : 05:11:28 AM Wondering how to go about this. We have (as I'm sure you all do too) quite a few Mom-Pop businesses. Restaurants, small stores etc. that don't do anything online. I'm wondering if there is a market to keep a facebook page or twitter account up to date for these businesses.
One that came to mind is a Bohemian restaurant here in town that does not advertise. It's one of those places that you forget is there. A number of places I tried looking up and there is nothing.
Any thoughts? Anyone doing this? Let's brainstorm!

Posted - Jul 18 2012 : 8:20:38 PM Our community has a Facebook for all businesses in town. Somebody keeps it up, but it's free. I guess that only way to see if it would work is to start asking around. If you have a Chamber of Commerce, you might want to ask them to fund your startup as a way to entice smaller new members. |
