Wondering how to go about this. We have (as I'm sure you all do too) quite a few Mom-Pop businesses. Restaurants, small stores etc. that don't do anything online. I'm wondering if there is a market to keep a facebook page or twitter account up to date for these businesses.

One that came to mind is a Bohemian restaurant here in town that does not advertise. It's one of those places that you forget is there. A number of places I tried looking up and there is nothing.

Any thoughts? Anyone doing this? Let's brainstorm!

This is a great idea. I do Mortgage lending and would love to get my name out to more people and am not sure how to do it. Any ideas would be welcomed...

Our community has a Facebook for all businesses in town. Somebody keeps it up, but it's free. I guess that only way to see if it would work is to start asking around. If you have a Chamber of Commerce, you might want to ask them to fund your startup as a way to entice smaller new members.

Yes, I'm just not sure how to market it and what to charge.

Are you thinking of running FB pages for local bussiness for a fee! Wow, Good Idea. Alot of small bussiness don't have time to do the internet. Good pondering! A way to help your community, grow bussiness and make a few dollars!
