I am trying to decide if it is one or the other or both for different markets. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

I prefer Etsy over all the other guys. I've tried them all and have only had success on Etsy. The Ebay customer's are mean. I have had some real stinkers. Will not go back to Ebay, personally.

I started my own website and you can have a web page that is linked to your selling platform. It really has helped my sales.

I have had many more sale on etsy.
I had only a few sale on art fire
Plus I think there is a monthly fee for Artfire.
I like ebay have over 1000 sales there. It is free to list these days

I have never tried Artfire; only Etsy - which has been very profitable for me. Have you heard of "Zibbet"? I have heard good things about that site recently - again, I have never tried it so I don't know first hand.

Personally I did not have great luck with Artfire, but I know others who swear by it! I prefer etsy, but perhaps my items are more suited to that venue for some reason. I don't think there is a large investment to list items on either site, maybe you could try a limited number of items on each site and see which is the better match for you...sometimes you can't tell until you dig in and actively list. Good luck!!
