I've been wanting my very own cafe/catering business for such a long time. My best friend just recently gave me the opportunity to get my feet wet and asked me to cater her daughter's wedding in October! I'm thrilled and exciting but at the same time, it's my first "real" event and it's for close to 200 people! O_o!!!
And you know it's going to be a Southern country farmgirl affair since the menu starts off with ....2 whole hogs! LOL!

Sherry sounds like fun. Wish I was there I would help. We do the school banquets. We feed around 200 to 300 people. Lots of hard work but when your done it's awesome just to know that you did it. Good luck

Congradulations on you getting this wedding to cater. If you have any questions or need advice I used to do quite a few parties for people. Sounds like alot of fun and this could be the beginning of maybe more work for you. I'm going to help bake cookies for a friends wedding in March. It's a big thing in our area to have tables loaded with thousands of delicious assorted cookies. Yum!
