I have a small herbal business where I make bath salts, facial scrubs, facial elixir, facial serium, soaps ect. I usually set up at farmers market's and I do really well during farmers market season. But about 3 months ago I started thinking about trying to sell my stuff to stores. Well.... I took the plunge ( after designing a presentation pkt and samples of my products) and went into 5 stores. Guess what happened? 4 out of 5 stores are going to carry my products. The first store ordered $941.00 of my products and paid for them with the order!!! The other 3 are placing orders on Monday... The owners kept saying "Your stuff really works" and "Your packaging is great"
I am still in shock but I have so much work to do that I can't believe it....Sometimes the first step is the hardest. Which it was. I was terrified to go into those stores but, look what happened

Wow! You did a brave thing. I did the same thing and was pleasantly surprised they wanted my work too! Selling offline is just as exciting as selling online.

That is so exciting. It is completely scary to step "out of our boxes" and try something else and you just proved how successful it can be. Keep up the good work!

Tammy, that really is neat! We probably can say "That we knew you when...." I think it must be difficult, but to have stores carry your products...you have to be 3/4 way there. I really am happy for you. When you feel like it, maybe you can list the name of the stores, & we can order from one of them....they'll want to buy even more! ;0)
