Posted - Oct 04 2010 : 1:04:10 PM We need to set up a webpage and get something like paypal started too. Can you please give me ideas on how to get started and where or which companies work well for helping, paying for a domain name or is it still good to do an ebay store? Is that still in? !!!!! I don't know.
We'd like to set up paypal. How does that work? Do they have customer service?
Any other services you can tell us about.
We have the business going already just need to take the next step and get it online.
Thank you so much. Stephanie

Posted - Oct 05 2010 : 9:17:17 PM Thank you very much. Also for mentioning getting rankings which I think is when someone searches for certain words and it picks your site as an option....is that correct? I will look up both sites mentioned and get back to you with questions. I really appreciate your help.

Posted - Oct 05 2010 : 3:18:52 PM You can use the farmgirl that did mine, Joanna. She is great to work with and the cost is less than anywhere else on the web. Her fees are listed at my thread but I'll give it to you here. To do your website it is only $25 set up and you choose your logo colors, etc... Then a low $15.00 a month fee to maintain and host your site. You can contact her at member@sunshinefarmgirlcoop.com If you'd like to have your site linked to our website just let her know that too. It is $5 a month for my website for her to maintain your page and starting in January next year a low fee for advertising and that's it. Contact me for further details if you'd like to be a part and grow your business affordable with a group.

Posted - Oct 05 2010 : 08:46:10 AM I set up PayPal a long time ago and it was fairly easy then. You can get most of what you need from their FAQ page. But you will need at least a bank account. The one I have at my Credit Union works just fine for that. As far as web pages go. So much depends on the ranking you can achieve with search engines if you are solo. I did that years ago before there was so much con petition and it was not easy then even with my unusual name. I unfortunately had to let the domain name for my first name lapse when my DH got sick. Some company picked it up and now wants me to repurchase it for big bucks which I will not do. I think that people go to Ebay and ETSY because they already have a ranking. Then you just have to be found there. None of this is easy or cheap.
