I am seriously considering selling handmade items. It would either be through an etsy/ebay site, through my own website, and/or at craft shows. If I were to do through etsy and craft shows, would I just use the same business license? Can I consider it to be the same business even if I sell through etsy? If I use the business name in any selling, would that work? I hate legal stuff so I just want to be safe. Thanks!

Nicole,
I use the same business license for all sales. The only exception would be if you have two completey different businesses. You should opperate under the same business name that you registered with in your state. Sounds like you should be just fine.
