My husband's best friend works for a small company that produces all natural chicken: no hormones or antibiotics, grain-fed, etc. We worked out a deal to sell for them at a farmer's market. It has been going well, but the market ends in a few weeks and we need to keep selling.

How would you suggest we do this? We're thinking of a co-op in several surrounding towns. Does anybody have any helpful hints for me?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you, Karrieann. That's a great idea! I know just who to talk to about that, too!

Thank you, Corabelle, that's what I tried to find and couldn't yesterday!

Good idea, Alee! Why didn't I think of that? I've already registered our organic fertilizer there! Thanks!

...how about checking out some local restaurants and see if they would be interested in having in for their menu?

Thanks for the help, Corrabelle! I'm looking into it, but there's just not a lot of that in my area.

Find a local chapter of an "eat local" or "100 mile diet" group. (sometimes these are blogs) They list local food growers, this is how I get my eggs! (and chicken, beef, veggies etc!)
Also, our local health food store carries eggs from farmers all over the province. They go pretty fast too.
