Hi Linda,
Glad you received your package and you like it. I enjoyed making it!

For merit badges you complete the requirements separately for each level, beginner, intermediate and expert, separately and in order.
You would complete the requirements for beginner and them submit your application. Then you can move on to intermediate, then to expert and so on. When you submit your application be sure you get a "successful" window following your submission. If it doesn't pop up then it's probably because it didn't go through. Once your application is approved then Chelsea, the merit badge "farmgirl" will send you an email to let you know and in that will also be a link to your certificate which you can print out and a link to the badge which you can print out. Mary Jane will also post it in the "Woo-Hoo" thread here on the forum.

Several of the different badges have required reading. If you REALLY want the book you can purchase them and sometimes Amazon Books has decent prices. However, if you don't really want to purchase the book, check your library and if they don't have it on the shelves ask them about inter-library loan. I have gotten many through the ILL . . . some of them I just didn't want to spend money on, even though they might be good books.

I wish you the best on badges. You can send an email to meritbadges@maryjanesfarm.org for more information or to ask questions or whatever.
Enjoy the apron and card!

Thank you CeeJay for the beautiful St.Patricks day apron. It was a wonderful surprise and beautifully done. I shall wear it with great pride. I looked at your sight and the aprons are so pretty. Your March Mail will be mailed next week and thank you again. If I could figure out how to send a picture I would send one so everyone could see how pretty the apron is. You certainly have earned a lot of badges. In order to submit one do you have to complete the whole list for the badge or just each catagory?
Thank you again
Linda

With lots of hugs and smiles, have a great day.

For several weeks now I've had customers miss out on an apron they were interested in because they were "waffling" . . and it's been purchased out from under their noses. Every week has been great sales and lively business!
YAY!

I know the blogspot looks really bare right now . . . that's the way it'll be until I'm finished with this year's Farmers Market season. I sell them there and they sell quite well!

Hello CeeJay,
I can not wait to see your creations for me!!!!!!! I am so excited to wear them. Most women in my area do not wear aprons but since I will be opening a Local Market I have created a job were they will fit right in and be an everyday wear. I am hoping they catch on... Thank you again for all your time and energy...... God Bless

Thanks LeslieAnne!

I DO sell a lot of aprons. I have a vendor booth at our local Farmers Market and have sold dozens and dozens of them over the past 3 seasons (June-Sept) and am gearing up for this year's season. I sell quite a few off my blogspot and am fortunate to have sold many to my Farmgirl friends. I do think there is a huge comeback for aprons and some areas probably show more of that than others.
I also know there are some folks . . and areas . . .when they really never went out of style. But they are back in style!
Thanks again!

CJ, your aprons are so cute!.. are you selling a lot of them?.. I ask because I don't see many women in my area wearing aprons, don't see aprons sold in the stores here, & just wonder if my area is typical or not of the whole country... do you sell strictly from your blog, or do you sell locally as well?..
