Hey there farmgals! I have registered my new business as Farmgirl Products USA and wondering if any one of you want to be featured on my site. I decided upon this idea because I found there was really nothing out there that was specific to the farmgirl and her wears....except for etsy but you have to navigate through a thousand people to get to what you want. There are also a few others that have listed farmgirls...but I intend on featuring x-amount of farmgirls according to state, being very organized about it and really driving home the Made In The USA concept along with each farmgirls unique story to make it authentic. It will be just another way to sell your product...but very comprehensive and unified. Tell me what you think! I will be designing the website this next month and doing tons of work around getting the right vendors to join. Also, if any of you are certified to sell food products or know of a farmgirl that does....let me know...I would really love to see farmgirl yummies included. By the way...I am a farmgirl at heart and have such a passion for anything homemade with love...I am excited to share as many products as possible that come from the hardworking hands of women all over this great country and feel buying local and within our country is super important these days. I plan on doing a grandeous job of getting the word out! I am also a co-lead to the NOrthern Oregon Farmgirls as of four months ago...dont know what the heck I am doing yet!...but I have the fever of the farmgirl!

God Bless You!

I'm still on Farmmade. However, I only have one thing on there. There was a problem loading my info and I got too busy this fall to even worry about it. I have my patterns ready to go and am currently loading them onto the Indiemade, Zibbet and Patternmar sites. I plan to try to get back to Farmmade this week and try to load again. I think the more people who sign up there and link to their blogs and other social media the more likely people are to sell their goods.

Hi Patti, My mother in law is in contact with you and she shared your idea with me. I would be interested in being a part of the sale. I am a stay at home mom and with the economy going bad I've tried to help as much as I can. My baby is 3 1/2 and she is a insulin dependent type 1 diabetic. To say it shortly I have no day care for her to go back to work so I do crafts. I have two businesses, the first is a baby blanket and burp cloth business named Royal Mes baby products. The other is a womens accessories business with Fun key chains and headbands which is called CAB`E (pronuounced kuh-bay). So if you wanna look at the items to see if it would fit into the sale I have websites for both.

and www.cabe4women.com

thanks so much, Amber Elbek

Hi Ann,
Glad your excited! Dont worry about duplicating anyone elses products because that just rarely happens when things are homemade....unless you are doing the same exact pattern of something. The 20.00 is waived until we go live(three weeks) and thereafter is paid before you set up shop. That is the order of things! The site is taking longer than expected but should be everything we want it to be in the end.

Patti Ann, I am so new that I am still trying to catch up! With 150 farmgirls signed up, how do we know if we are duplicating what someone else is offering? Do we pay the $20 when we give you our information? or does that come after the site is up? I have an etsy account also but haven't used it in a while, I would be using that artwork and name (because I bought it). This is very exciting!!! Thank you!! Ann2144

Hi Patti Ann. I make what my grandma referred to as pillow slips, they are prettier than regular pillow cases and fit all standard sized pillows. I also make fleece baby blankets with a cotton backing and satin blanket edges and fiber bowls. I also make bead jewelry. My daughter makes the cutest stuffed animals with sewn on eyes so little ones are not in danger of choking since she does not use the glued on sort. She also makes tote bags and regular purses. We are in Alaska and are also interested. Etsy is just too full of stuff to even bother right now.

Melanie....you can use the same name...just different address! No problem! Keep that clever name and may the magic of it work for you.

Patti,

Just wondered if you found an answer to the question: Can our Farmgirl shop have the same name as our etsy shop since it will be a different address? If not, I need to come up with a new clever name!

Also, I'm finishing up several different table runners for your review.

Patti, I'm glad you are getting everything going. It will be a while before I'm able to join in totally. I'm spending the next 2 months closeing up my store. So will just be a lurker until I get settled in Oregon.

Hey Bunny....we will see you soon then!
Thanx Candy....I played around with the hat for days until I was driving everyone crazy! Glad you like it. I personally cant settle with something until my gut feels right and relieved! Third time is the charm. Every farmgirl vendor will get a roll of logo stickers to adhere to every box sent....making it an official farmgirl product....seal of approval!

God Bless You!
