I have my dream shop vision just about set. Now to finance it is another thing. Home decorating and gifts along with some clothing and things from my town like postcards and apparel. I am leaning towards a frenchie theme but with a farmgirl flair and homey feeling :) I'm looking into what I need to get started. I might just start online at first to test it all out. Any guidance or advice is greatly appreciated. I'm just happy I have a list of what I want.

I always wanted a shot, also..... antiques, "shabby chic", chippy painted stuff, vintage clothes, etc. etc. My area is really rural and poor, and realistically It just wouldn't fly. So I did Etsy instead. It is still a dream of mine, though....... one day, when times are better..........

You need a business plan to start with. You can find lots of templates on the net. Any bank wil expect one and it will take you sometime to complete. The plus is, it will help you define your goals and ideas.

Good luck!
