We had a "really big show" this weekend and the masses were clamoring for a good coffee scented soap...I have made coffee soap with the grounds and coffee instead of distelled water, but sadly, apprently, it is not smelling enough like a good cup a joe...

Any soapers out there have a sure fire scent for coffee handcrafted soap

Please advise! I would appreciate it greatly!!

I got a good coffee scent from Oregon Trail Soap Supplies. It had a bit of hazelnut in it. Sorry I can't remember the name. Nature's Garden has good ones too.

Hi girls,
I'm a soaper and I have made a coffee soap using a combination of coffee butter and cocoa butter. To intensify the coffee aroma even more you can get coffee essential oil from www.newdirectionsaromatics.com. For the coffee butter there are several places that carry it, I usually but it from www.fromnaturewithlove.com. Hope that helps.

Try Save on Scents:

Just make sure you get the high temp one that will work for soap.

Melody,

I'm not a soaper but how about using instant espresso powder? Would that work?

BTW, my husband LOVES the Anise and Poppy Seed Soap (me too!)
