Posted - Feb 07 2006 : 1:59:31 PM I have been looking for a place to sell my candles, crafts and my other gently used items that I no longer need. I had tried Yahoo, but they seem to have lots of technical difficulties and no support. Ebay is fine but gets very expensive. So I went thru some of my notes, I was actually organizing my Passwords list. I came across Ioffer. So I went out and checked them out. They have really made some nice improvements.
Well anywho I am going to give them a try. You get to set up a storefront for free you can list as much as you like for free and the Final Value Fees are very fair.
You might also check out what they have listed, I seen some nice fabrics under quilting and alot of really nice cross stitch stuff!!
They are not actually an auction, the sellers set a price but you can make a offer. You can barter back and forth on one item or a "lot" of items that you put in your cart.
The site is also very good about getting your things in froogle searches which is a big++
I know that alot of you make handmade things to sell and this might be a great venue to sell them and not spend alot of dollars. It's also time to start spring cleaning and this would be a good place to but some of your extras.
Let me know if you set up a shop and I will make sure to sign your guestbook and add you to my recommended list!! Also if you have any questions just pop me a email and i'll try my best to help.
You can see my store by click on the Bridge's bargains in my signature.I hope to add a bunch more this weekend when I am off of work!!!
