Posted - May 06 2009 : 2:02:30 PM I just posted on my blog about a new business idea I have been pondering the last couple of days. It's a bit long. I was wondering what some of you ladies thought about it.
Thanks, Melanie

Posted - May 17 2009 : 7:34:10 PM I really like your idea. Children are children even after the age of twelve. They do not always have the mental capability to be able to deal with problems that may arise at home, alone. I think many parents would be comforted with the fact that they have a place where their children can go and be safe, and learn at the same time. I wish you the best. |

Posted - May 07 2009 : 04:47:30 AM Thanks Lori! My main worry was insurance. But I was checking state licensing requirements last night and found that they want you to have a year experience in daycare. Hmmm I think I can figure out a way to get that done.

Posted - May 06 2009 : 2:25:05 PM I think you are definately on the right track. I would just do the research on possible liability when taking the kids places, insurance issues, etc. What are the licensing requirements in your state to run a "daycare". You know stuff like that so you can then determine how much you want to take on activity wise. Wish there had been one around here when my kids were that age! Good luck.
