Hello farmgirls,

I posted some photos on my blog
http://melodynotes-melodynotes.blogspot.com of my little shop in the front parlor of my house. Check it out! We are currently in the process of making our summer soaps, salves, balms and sea salts and are very excited about our upcoming schedule of shows! Ahhh...to be under our blue canopy on a sunny summer afternoon....Can't wait!

Do you have any unscented soaps? And can you order from your website? It won't let me click on anything. I love handmande soaps and would like more info.

Thanks,
Marsha

Thanks, Kay!

It's a very old house over 110 years old and was built by a local carriage driver of one of the founding fathers of our little city....You should have seen it when we bought it 14-years ago. We actually had a nick-name for it "Old Blue!"

Your the second farmgirl I have met so far that mentioned she was originally from Springfield! We really enjoyed our trip to Illinois and hope to go back again soon.

One of our soap shows is right here in town. It is held at the Great Lakes Memorial Marina Park right next to the Lake....it is so beautiful with the sun and water and all the different vendor's canopies. And, only two blocks from my house! I love the idea of selling locally and promoting "cottage" industries in our own hometown. Thanks for checking out my blog and glad you enjoyed the photos from the Land of Lincoln!

Melody, your house is lovely. I like your little "soap parlor" and the garden shed. I enjoyed the pictures of Springfield, IL and the Abe Lincoln sites - that's my hometown. The thoughts of doing outdoor shows are wonderful - I'd give most anything for a warm summer breeze right now.
