Roses that never die or wilt! I made these with Polymer Clay. This is a sample of future Etsy postings! Just wanted to get feedback on item. The base below it is not included and I need to get better pictures without it! I think it confused people when I posted on Ebay. Thanks for taking the time to look!

Posted - Dec 16 2008 : 2:26:49 PM You just do everything right on the glass and pop it in the oven @275 or whatever your particular clay calls for and the necessary time. I then shut the oven off when the timer goes off and let the items sit in the oven till the oven cools down. This gives your pieces a little extra time curing and also enables you to handle them a bit easier when they are cooler to the touch. You will have to let me know how things turn out! Take care.

It is very pretty Lori. It has been a while since I played with polymer clay. You have definitly inspired me. Were you able to heat the polymer clay in the oven to harden it while it was already on the glass or did you have to assemble after it was baked?

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start; anyone can start from now and make a brand new end.

Posted - Dec 15 2008 : 11:09:18 AM The roses are attached to the band that I fitted around the neck of the glass. You just apply pressure to make sure that the arrangement is secure to the clay. Hummm, hadn't thought of trying to make babies breath. Maybe just little white pearls? With clay you want to make sure that everything sort of anchors to what you're making or pieces could easily break off. Thanks so much for the suggestions though and comments! Have a great day!

So is it the flowers attached to the vase? That is neat! Very elegant, and always colorful...can you make baby's breath?! They would make great wedding table decor one large vase, and several smaller ones for the guest tables. Maybe even as a small brides maids gift in a set of how ever many BMs there are.
