Posted - Oct 27 2008 : 11:31:52 AM I finally took the plunge and opened an Etsy shop!! I'm a little nervous and hope that I handle everything okay; the whole shipping procedure is a little overwhelming. Please stop and take a look if you get a chance. I'm doing mostly rustic gatherings and primitives, only have a few things listed since I'm trying to juggle a librarian job, small kids, and a farm. Hopefully will get the chance over the holidays to create some more!! Please let me know what you think and if you have any suggestion!! www.prairiewhispers.etsy.com

Posted - Nov 25 2008 : 2:28:27 PM It is now in my favs also. What a supreme talent you are! Combining antiques with prim is awesome. I don't do prim but love your stuff, especially the farm prayer pillow. When I get some time I might want to barter with you.

Posted - Nov 20 2008 : 07:15:51 AM Jacqueline, To make the pillow all you have to do is print the photo on fabric and then sew it together!! It really is easy, I just wish I had a printer that had waterproof ink, the images on my pillows will distort if they get wet. Hopefully I can save enough for one soon!! Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement, it means so much to me!!

Posted - Nov 19 2008 : 5:55:52 PM How did you do the photo on the pillow? I have a photo of our farm when it was started a hundred years ago and would love to have it pillowed. Can you do something like that, or how would I learn to do it myself? Wonderful items on your site. The egg soaps are delightful!
One suggestion -- put your photo and more info about you on the profile page. It's always nice to see a real person's face behind that. Fine to include you with kids, animals, etc., anything that helps people see you're a real person.
Great job! warmly, Jacqueline Freeman

Posted - Oct 27 2008 : 12:55:11 PM How fun!
I actually found your shop today while browsing etsy, before you posted the link. You only had the farmer's pillow up at that time, and I added it to my favorited items list. :) That's a fun coincidence that you are a farmgirl, too.
I will have to check out the rest.
