I see that many of you have Etsy shops! I opened one in March of this year and it is really going great! My husband recently lost his job so we have much more time to spend on our business now. The Etsy shop was a huge blessing. Etsy is amazing for homecrafters.

I have visited some of your shops...I am even trading with a shop owner that I found on here last week. Great products! So many talented women!

Here is mine...www.farmsteadorganics.etsy.com
We sell our goat milk skin care products and I recently struck a deal with my Amish neighbors to help me with my sewing projects too. That has been great! They are so talented! We are working on starting some baby quilts and matching sheet sets for this fall. It is so nice to have help! My 11 year old daughter is my apprentice too and she is amazing to work with. I am an herbalist and she is already learning so much by watching me and listening. It is wonderful to have a small family business! Our goats are really paying for themselves now! Yippee! I believe that if you put your mind to it, you can make a living off your small hobby farm. It just takes creativity and thinking outside of the box...and working together.

Hope to get to know some of you all better! I don't have much time to spend on here, but I am sure glad I found this place. I have been a farmgirl all my life and it is nice to meet like-minded ladies!

Blessings!
Jen

Welcome Jennifer! You have a wonderful site and you have great talent. Goat soap is so good for the skin and one of my favorites.
Good luck and glad you joined us.
