Does anyone know of a place where I can get nice looking labels made that are affordable. I am selling homemade dog biscuits, quiche and granola at my local farmers market and I am having a problem finding nice labels and packaging...any ideas?

Vistaprint.com has great specials. Although I think I'd rather pay a farmgirl to do it than a big company. What comes around goes around ya know!

I've been working with my dad doing graphic design, examples of his work can be found at www.wilsongraphics.net also at his Etsy shop wwww.wilsongraphics.etsy.com
We have the capibility to do something like what you are looking for.
You can email me through the forums, and I can pass it on to him if you are interested.

Hi Girls!
I do a lot of label making with my embroidery machine - I digitize everything myself. They can be done on fabric or paper. They really are neat and different and not too terribly expensive in the scheme of things. People REMEMBER what they got from you and where!!
I also make graphics, print on silk and egde with the embroidery machine.

Give me an idea of how many you need, size, wording, etc and maybe we can work something out. I have a few machines so can get them done pretty quickly.

I also sell at farmers market and I couldn't find any labels I liked better, or were cheaper, than the ones I made myself on the computer. Avery, who makes most of those blank labels you find at the office supply store, has free software that will help you to do this.

Well, you can buy "Name Tags" from an Office supply store and run them through your printer if you are doing a small scale operation. If no, I would suggest checking out your local print shops like Kinkos. I had some business cards made there a while ago and they were very reasonable.
