I wish we had a place to ask technology questions. Would some one please tell me how to put a slide show on my blog? I'm trying to update and make my blog more interesting. But old dogs have a hard time with new tricks.

Thank you. I feel like I'm the guy in cell phone commercial who's daughter goes off to college and he takes his bill to his cell phone provider for help reading them. Have you ever scene that one?

I just set my photobucket preferences to private to check and yes, if you set your account to "private" then when people click on the slide show it won't show them your whole album, only a large version of the slideshow

Hi Betty Jo!
It works! I have both, a youtube video bar and the slide shows. The youtube one is actually a link to all the videos I have of Nora uploaded to the web.
When you click on it, it does take you back to your photobucket site which people can follow to see what is in your photo album. However there is an option in the photobucket site to set your account to "private" and that might fix that.

Now it doesn't. I saw your was a you tube. are they easier to work with. When it did work anyone could click on the pics and get to all my other pics. I really don't want that. Or is that how it works?

It works!!!!!! If you get a chance check out my blog. I'm such an beginner but getting better. Thank you again for your help. My computer Tech is stationed in Korea for the next year so I am lost when it comes to technology.

PS- if you want it part of your permanent blog layout, just go to the "dashboard" click "layout" and then in the editing frame click "Add page element" the page element you want to click is "HTML/JAVA" then cut and paste the same HTML code from Photobucket like before. Once the page element is created, make sure it is in the wide column of your blog so the slideshow doesn't get cut off by the edge of the page!

I figured it out! When you make a slideshow with Photobucket, Photobucket includes below the slideshow four ways to "share" the slideshow. Double click on the text below the tag that says "HTML Code" and just paste into your post! Check out my current blog entry to see the slideshow I created.

THANK YOU!!!!!! I feel so dumb lately. Can't even turn on the TV. Dh got a new cable package with a new remote, new DVD player, again can't figure out the remote. UGH!!!! New technology.
