I stumbled upon this website,http://www.rentmothernature.com/.
What an interesting idea for FarmGirls out there! Take a look and see what you think. Very, very intersting!
I think it would be dynamite for the right products. Looks easy enough to implement with some creativity.
I'll be leasing a maple tree for someone from them. Why? Because it's so much more "in touch" than just ordering a bottle of Vermont maple syrup. I think the recipient would love to be leasing the actual maple tree rather than just getting a bottle.
I think is a super way to market certain farm products, so I wanted to make sure you all knew about it!

I had wanted to do that same thing with my lambs, Rent a Lamb, a few years ago but I couldn't figure out how much to charge, etc. so I never got it going.

I know, isn't it cool?
I'm thinking if I had some farm products to sell, this would be a profitable (and fun) (and not very labor intensive)way to do it!
Nothing like increasing the profit margin if ya ask me! |
