Posted - Dec 11 2007 : 03:10:38 AM My son takes violin and pays $15 for a half hour but she prefers to give them a 45 minute slot for that much instead. So, I think it depends on the teacher.

Posted - Dec 10 2007 : 12:10:31 PM Rhonda, at the Cincinnati Music Academy, which is where I'd send my child (if I had one), here is a direct blurb from their website:
"weekly half-hour lessons range from about $88 to about $110 per month, depending on the teacher’s experience and the type of program wanted. Longer lessons are priced proportionally."

Posted - Dec 08 2007 : 3:41:04 PM My daughter's piano teacher used to charge about $55 a month for three 1/2 hour lessons a month plus one 1-1/2 hour theory class. She also took violin for $15 per half hour lesson.
Hope this helps! Karin |
