Hi Girls!
Just wanted to share with everyone our Etsy site. What do you all
think? I could really use some input. Havn't sold anything yet...
sigh...Any suggestions? I've been working so hard at getting our business together online, & I guess I'm feeling a tad bit frustrated today. I could really use some farmgirl cheer.
Thanks everyone!
XO

You have lovely items!! I too am trying not to get discouraged as I've only sold one doll on my site. Let's hope together that as we get closer to the holiday buying season, things will pick up for us! I had a really tough time getting my photos up on my site too, so I think it's all a learning thingy, and we'll get better at the whole process with practice. Just hang tight with me, and we'll get there!! I wish you much success. Hugs, Lu

I better fix that description then. I don't want people buying patterns thinking that they are bags, etc. Thanx for the input!

adrianne - I see that now. The discription didn't really say it was a pattern and thats why I was confused. I thought you were selling the actual bags not the patterns. And you are right patterns are allowed!

Oh by the way- that is my daughter on the site. She does make a great model doesn't she?

The pics on pattern packages are actual patterns that are for sale, which I perused Etsy's do's and dont's and found that I could sell commercial items as long as they were listed under 'commercial'. And yes, I know, I have got to come up with better descriptions. I've been struggling so much with the pictures that I have abandoned the descriptions. On the upside- we made our first sale today! A pattern, not a handmade item, but thats something anyway. And ten people have added us to their favorites. Anyhow, I'm feeling much better about it than I was this morning

Very cute but it looks like some of the photographs are from the pattern package and not your own photos. I personally would not buy an item if I couldn't see the actual item you made. Also I think etsy has a policy about using other peoples photos so be careful about that. (If they are your personal photos than disregard that remark) Other than that I think your items are great. I love Amy Butler patterns and fabrics. Oh yeah one more thing. Your desriptions are very vague. Give sizes, names of fabric patterns used, type of fabric (100% cotton, etc.) and things like that. It doesn't have to be long but people want to be 100% sure of what they are buying.

I can't comment on the how's where's and why's of Etsy shops
but with any venture, it takes time to get noticed. Is that your granddaughter in the aprons? She has the most beautiful Red hair!!
That's what I want~wahhhh!!!!
