Oh, Thank you Liz!
Trina, so you just needed to know where you go onn Etsy to change your banner...oook..*pulls up store...*..ok..when you are signed into Etsy, you go to "Your Etsy" then on the lefthand side is going to be a whole long list of stuff, "Appearance" is under "Shop Setup"...after that its just a matter of finding/making an image thata is the right size.
cheers,

~Naomi~

Thanks for the hint Naomi. Finding where to do that was my biggest question (I usualy working late at night and half awake). I was hoping to get my first two pieces done and posted by monday, but it doesnt look like that is happening now. At this point everybody seems to be making plans FOR me. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH! (I know I should be thankful as they are trying to help, but right now I would like to hole up for a while.)

THank you ladies!
Trina, really for my shop banner, I took an image off the internet, took it into a program called Photoshop, which is made by a company called Adobe, cut out the girl, added the background color and the text, then I uplaoded it to my shop, I think where you do that is under "Appearance"...
The banner did take me a while though, as I don't know much about the program, I'm sure though you could do the same thing in another program, that could even already be on your computer. I've really not used anything other then Adobe products so I don't know what else is really out there for doing what I did.
hope that was of some help...
cheers,
~N~
P.S...someone who has been doing etsy longer, may be able to explain how exactly you upload a new banner...i learned through trial and error...haha...took me a while to actually get the banner to work and look..half way decent..its actually not exactly how i uploaded it the first time...the name of my shop is to far down on the banner...hehehe...

Naomi,

I have a question about etsy. How do you get the cute little banner (mine is plain)? I haven't even been given the option to make a nice one. I am trying to get my shop set up so I can have a couple items posted over the weekend. Thanks.
