I rented a booth space today at a local antique and craft mall. It is in a perfect spot, about half way down the main walking aisle, and faces the crosswise main aisle that goes the length of the store. I had started looking there back in December, waiting for the right spot to open, and sure enough waiting pays off!

Yikes is my first thought. I am just a little nervous, but hopefully I will do well there. And I think this will be an easier arrangement than trying to do many bazaars and sales.
I'll be setting up in the next couple days, and then I'll have pictures on my company website

Hi Sherri! Yes, I am/will be set up in Homespun. I hope to have a few things in tomorrow, just to make use of the space, and then once my furniture arrives in another week or two, I'll get that assembled, over to the store, and then arrange my goods.

I'll send you an email when I am officially open at Homespun :) for now you can check out my website!

Which antique and craft mall are you in? The only one in the Oly area that I'm familiar with is HOmespun but I'd love to come and take a look at your things. I come to Oly about once a week.

Thank you for asking Mikki! Here is a picture of the hall bench I ordered which will fit beautifully in the space:

I love the mirror on the top that also looks like a window. and the bench will show off the pillows I make beautifully. Different items can be hung from the hooks, I am thinking of making some baby summer outfits (sundresses and rompers). And then dressing the space for each season and holiday.
I went in to the shop today and tried to brainstorm some ideas for the flooring... we have some click together laminate wood flooring from our dining room project so I plan on using some of those in the space. It will make it more interesting than the old tile they have in the store.
I'll post pictures on my site as soon as the hall bench arrives and I have things set up!

Congratulations! Hubby & I rented a booth at a local antique mall in which to sell collectible German teddy bears, and we've been doing fairly well, considering we don't do any promotion. If your mall allows advertising (one we rented from wouldn't allow us to identify ourselves in our case) you can do some really cool cross-marketing between the mall and your online shop :)

I have a paypal account so that is how the payment would be processed. I haven't solicited orders through this forum since all a y'all are already so handy :)
