Posted - Jan 19 2017 : 07:49:20 AM I think this is would be better as a website that could be set up as a tool. This could help women hook up with other women that are like minded and want to camp or explore their area. It would be great to be able to get on the web click on the area a person is closest to and see who is up for meeting regionally to camp for the weekend and do activities, teach classes, etc. If there is something already out there let me know. I certainly would be interested. We can't take much for vacation because of your cattle, but I can get away and would love to find other gals that can too.

Posted - Jan 22 2017 : 3:21:06 PM Kem... yes Glampers on the Loose is a great site and if you type in "glamping " or vintage trailer groups or even a specific name, for example "Aristocrat trailer club "... you will stumble onto a gazillion groups. Back in Spokane WA., there is a small group for local and nearby communities of lades only who like to camp, fish, kiyack etc... I happen be a member of Sisters on the Fly as is Daizy Belles, CJ and a few other MJF gals. Check out the Outback thread to see what some of the gals are up too.. If memory serves me correct, a couple of the Gals post there about camping venues they are hosting. btw, Kem what state do you live in?

Posted - Jan 22 2017 : 06:16:47 AM Good morning Kem. We did start such a thing here when my glamping book first came out but there wasn't enough interest so we moved it to Facebook where it exploded--24,000 members so far. Lots of women meet up via our page, Glampers on the Loose (originally it was Sisters on the Loose when it was housed here). Check it out (the banner photo is a photo I took of my daughter and friend one morning inside my Airstream while they were rushing around getting breakfast ready for our B&B guests.
