Posted - May 08 2015 : 05:50:27 AM I got my gorgeous books!!! I am so excited to start through them... I just want to try a small thing, once a month to bring this lifestyle into my home. I will be planting lettuce this week... I have a powerful brown thumb. I'm hoping that having Mary Jane's books in my home turn the deadly thumb green!!!

Posted - Mar 27 2015 : 10:08:29 AM Oh, what a gift! They are so enjoyable to read! The first book I bought was MaryJane's Ideabook, Cookbook, Lifebook: For the Farmgirl in All of Us. If I "had" to pick a favourite, that would be it. I find it so inspiring! All of her books are great. Yes, I own all of them! Not finished with the Milk Cow Kitchen: Cowgirl yet. Every time I read it, it makes me want to own a cow and since my chickens are presently "outlaws", I think the village would have a cow if I had one! lol
Have fun reading them. A bit of warning - they are addictive and you "will" want to own all of them!

Posted - Mar 27 2015 : 09:56:45 AM Just ordered the 5-book bundle. I knew if I didn't get one of them, I would wish I had. The bundle price was great and the Sisterhood member free shipping was too good to pass up. Now....tick tock tick tock -- patient me waiting for the mailman!

Posted - Feb 15 2015 : 7:19:40 PM I refer to my MJF books time after time after time. I misplaced one recently in the house and my husband can tell you I was miserable until I found it. I'm a city girl, but try to keep things simple. I think that's why I'm continually drawn to the books and magazines. Love the artwork and stories.

Posted - Oct 25 2011 : 12:33:40 PM I ordered my Ideabook yesterday, I just couldn't wait but promptly let my mom know that as she introduced me to Mary Janes Farm she would be even more appreciated if I happened to find the other books under my tree. Now I just wish the mailman would get my book here quick, I will have an early Christmas present from me. Then I will be able to have more ideas for presents for others.

Posted - Oct 16 2011 : 6:53:59 PM I am getting my ideabook at the end of the month for my birthday. You know how it goes, tell your DH what you want, find it for him at a good price, order it for delivery and shazam, you have just what you want for your birthday. Went to Half Price Books online and they shipped it from Indiana for $14, what a deal. Too bad someone got it and did not appreciate it as much as I will. Good for be, sorry for her.
God bless,
Judy

Posted - Sep 16 2011 : 11:02:22 AM I just ordered the ideabook and the stitching room. I can't wait until they get here. I love the outpost book! I can't say that I have a favorite part of it exactly, I love the whole book. However, if I did have to choose something it would be the wild edibles guide. |
