I think Mary Jane could write a whole book on just this subject! I know I would buy it!!

How very cool! My good friend built a watering system from repurposed pvc and 5 gallon buckets! (he did buy nipples to put into the bottom of the buckets though)

Hi Ginny,
Thanks so much! I'd love to see photos. Sounds great.
I bartered eggs for two nice old windows, and found a good solid door from the local Habitat for Humanities store. The siding is going to be made from weathered old bark fencing on the property.
So appreciate your response.

Oh! Ginny! I'd like to see what you did with recycled materials. My DH and I are planning a coop and I'd like it to be made with recycled items.

Lyn, You can include our coop! I'll send you pics. We made it out of recycled materials, wooden pallets. I'll email you some pics.

I've been mentally collecting unique chicken coop images and interesting out buildings for a long time with the intention of writing a book. Since I just finished a book on Taos for Arcadia Publishing, maybe it is time to get cooking on this one. Especially since I am in the process of building a coop using recycled materials. Would love to so photos or get leads if anyone wants to be included.

There are some really pretty coops out there that I've seen described. They're almost like hotels for some!

I have always wanted a book that is all about chicken coops and how they are decorated inside and out!
