Posted - Apr 27 2006 : 09:39:14 AM I am very happy to have found this site. I've been searching for a "farm" site for quite a while. I live on a 5.5 acre ranch in California. We raise our own beef, pork, eggs and vegies. I used to milk but the kids are all off in different directions and we don't use as much dairy. Milking was fun and relaxing.I'm 52 and have done this for most of my life. My husband and I are retiring and have purchased a 120 acre farm (w/home/barn and outbuildings) in Michigan. We will move in May of 2007. I've been studying the decor of olde farmhouses. We have purchased a 1.5 story home.I would like to see and hear other farm ladies decorating ideas. Also, have any ladies ventured into bee keeping? I'm going to order your book and your magazine. Thank you for your time. Mz. B |
