2quilter, that is a totally awesome idea!!!! I would love that, especially the repurposing part. There is not nearly enough emphasis put on this means of recycling.

I am a newbie -- and recently ordered some of the magazine packs....still getting to know the ropes you know..how about a beginners guide to organic living...along the lines of an idiots guide to clean living...or perhaps a theme of repurposing everyday household items in order to give city gals like me ideas to live more frugally....love everything I've seen so far...can't wait to see more! Thanks for everything!

I like the idea of the holiday book which would be fun.
I also thought it would be neat to have a project book, organized by time commitment. For example, projects that take only 1/2 hour should be in the front, then more time consuming projects in the middle and then big ones in the back. I think it would be beneficial to readers because when they begin to tackle the smaller ones, the confidence gained with help them attack the bigger ones.

Thanks MaryJane Staff-- Merry Christmas!

Happy Trails!

Hi CherryPie!
My goodness, thank you for your enthusiasm about a holiday book and MJ books in general. I'm flattered. Yesterday, we did discuss the possibility of a holiday book. Along those lines, we think it would be grand to have farmgirls/sisters send in projects--the kind that don't require lots of directions but are more visual in nature. We're actually working on a bread book, as well as a quilt book and a surprise kind of "diet" book--not a weight loss book so much as a diet makeover book. But the going is slow. The magazine, my newspaper column, and sisterhood newsletter use up a great amount of our time and effort. But I have my thinking cap on. That said, I'm convinced web videos are also a great way to teach/learn so I've been putting energy into that for right now. Again, thanks for your support and enthusiasm.
