A farmgirl travel book called, "Traveling the Farmgirl Road" places that no one heard of. I'm sure we all know of the most beautiful
and secret places to go. Sharing these places would be of a real treasure with other farmgirls. Life is too short.

I would too! It would also be great for her to create (as if she had the time!) a MJF recipe box with her recipe cards and food pictures on them. I was thinking of doing this myself but I don't want to cut up all my wonderful magazines!

Cozynana, I was thinking about a cookbook with members contributing recipes. Individual chapters could put together their own cookbooks. Is it allowed for chapters to sell their own cookbooks?
If it isn't, they could just make it and print it themselves for theirselves.

I would love to have a Mary Jane Cookbook, or a Farmgirl Connection cookbook. That would be great. I have a few recipes to share.

That is wonderful! I would love the "Farm Kitchen" book. I already own both the Outpost and the Stitching Room books. I own the Farmgirl Connection Cookbook too. Some of my recipes are in the book too.

Hey guys! It was announced a few years back that MaryJane would be coming out with books for each chapter in the "Lifebook, etc". The Outpost books and Stictching Room books have already come out. I am not sure what book she is currently working on but "Farm Kitchen" is one of the topics and I imagine it will contain many of her recipes.

There is a FARMGIRL CONNECTION cookbook with recipes, tips and photos from many of the members on this site. Here is where you can order the second edition http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/the-farmgirl-connection-cookbook-second-edition-bw/4415451?productTrackingContext=center_search_results.

How about a Mary Jane cookbook with a section that is nothing but recipes from her followers? Everyone could submit recipes and household tips. She could go through and pick what fits with her theme or whatever. That would be fun and interesting.

I too would love to have a MJF cookbook. I don't like to keep my Idea book or Outpost book in the kitchen since I don't want to get them all messy so they live along with the other MJF books inside my nightstand. You know the recipes I love in my cookbooks by the rippled and spotted pages but I just can't put these books where they will get messed up.

I see you have a better idea than I have for all of MJF tidbits, recipes, articles etc. I take a pink highlighter or any one brighter than yellow and underline follow-ups and projects. I dog-ear all the really important stuff. I just have way too many dogears in a book. I think I would have a hard time taking it apart. Maybe taking your idea, I will photostat the super important stuff. I would love a recipe book, & I check the magazines to see if there is another coming soon or what. I just looked at the Christmas one, & one is not ready until Feb-Mar. Aaaaarrrrrrgh!

I would love to have a Mary Jane cookbook! I know that it probably isn't "cool" to say what I do with the MJF magazines I get, but I'll share anyway. After I finishing reading the magazine for the 10th time or so (sometimes more!), I carefully remove the pages that have interesting things on them and put them in my "project bin". My project bin is a big filing bin with hanging folders that have titles like "painting projects" or "sewing projects". That way, when I get a hankering to do a hands-on project, I have plenty to choose from...

Woohoo!!!!

I would love that idea as well. A whole book of MJF stuff! I think it would be great if it also had a few helpful hints to help with around the house too!
