In response to your message, the way I found out about Mary Janes Farm magazine..................was at the book store. I was looking for a magazine that was different and worthwhile at the same time.......good luck, I say........and the Apron issue caught my eye. I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MAGAZINE!!!! I love aprons, sewing, and doing needlework along with everything else I do. I just couldn't believe that someone actually hit on this subject. I must admit, the sewing and crafting are my favorite things about Mary Jane.......but......I have purchased the bake-over starter kit and just love it too. She is just a guide back to a slower paced time in my life that I miss. I entered the pinkeeper contest and just had a ball with that. I made a work boot which I called a "Sew Shoe" and was just thrilled that I actually finished the project and sent it in! I came close several times during the weeks that I worked on the boot to tossing it to the back of the closet with several other unfinished projects. Thankfully I fihnished and am just tickled to death that I entered. From the cork sole to the blanket stiched boot I am proud of it no matter what! Just came to the conclusion that boot making is NOT my calling. But it was a lot of fun. Keep us going with the wonderful publications coming out our way. I will be attending our newly formed Farmgirl Chapter this Friday nite for out first meeting and we are all excited about that too. Thanks for this connection!
