Today was my cheat day to hide out in my sewing room rather than do house
cleaning or gardening

Had fun stitching on my old Sears Kenmore from the late 1960’s…

Just a few fun things for 4th of July…

BTW, the machine and desk is in the living room temporarily while I re designed my sewing room layout..

Heather,, good news.. I reclaimed my living room, and got this sewing table back in my (still messy) sewing room...
Actually my kitty likes that it is back in the sewing room so she can get up on the window ledge and snooze!

Love the aprons! I can relate to the living room mess. My living room is my sewing room. Right now it's pretty chaotic LOL!

Grace, great job on 4th July aprons and oven towels. When it's all said and done, enjoy your spruced up sewing room and create more wonderful things.

BTW-the aprons are just fun 'Grden Aprons' with deep wide pockets..
I had just enough scrap fabric to make them.. with just enough fabric left over to make a few...YOYO's :>)

LOL! that is awesome that you have your grandparent's set of Lucite grapes..
I have well over 2 dozen that I have collected, I don't know why.. I just love them.. when I would see a cluster,, I would be like a 'Moth to a Flame'.. lol!

My sewing room is coming along slowly,, in the meantime my poor living room looks like a chaotic mess!
I actually have gathered up and sorted and donated, mailed off, given away, stacks of fabric, books, sewing paraphernalia etc.. and I still have way to much!
I was actually going to sell or donate the above sewing cabinet and machine.. but it works so dawgone well... well, it's probably going back into my sewing room...
The only thing It doesn't have are the cams,, but if I did my research right,, I can use specific Singer cams.. So I need to did through my stash to see what I have that will work.
Believe it or not, there are die-hard Sears-Kenmore lovers, out there, and videos on youtube how to maintain and use them.

Such cute items Grace. Good luck with your sewing room makeover. I did notice your glass grapes on your table. I have those too. My grandma and grandpa used to make the different glass fruit.
