Back in the "olden days" when I was a little girl it was much more of an event. The best place to find them was in my granny's bras and apron pockets hanging on the line! She alway had wash hanging on the line when we got to her house Easter afternoon. And we jumped out of the car with baskets in hand running and finding the dozens of eggs she had dyed for us. I will never forget those times. Now I have a little grandson to make those memories for.

Sunshine-

That brings back such great memories of Easter egg hunts! I remember one year we had found all but one egg. Weeks pass and finally on Mother’s day as we were serving mom breakfast in bed she suddenly got a weird look on her face.

“I just found the last Easter Egg!” She said. It had been hiding on top of the china hutch and the only way you could see it was laying just where mom was! It was dyed in a “camo” pattern and was lying in a plant.

I can’t wait till Nora is old enough to hunt Easter eggs….wait… yes I can! I don’t want her to grow up!

Yeah we have a lot of fun who knew an easter egg hunt could make you climb trees and climb on top of sheds this on always does. I seriously think that bunny has wings or a small helicopter to get to some of the places those baskets have hidden over the years.

Sunshine, that looks like TOOOO much fun! I loved doing the egg hunt when I lived near my family in San Diego and I really miss it now that I live in Spokane. I gotta meet some families with young kids! Thanks for sharing! Judy
