nope...broiler is in the regular oven part...top burner with high and low flames
the bottom is a handy drawer

Is the broiler on the bottom and does the tray slide out when you open the door or do you have to reach in and pull it out?

Fridgidaire...we did shop around. And bought from a local appliance store. Looked at Home Depot...Sears...this was the most bang for our buck.
