Just stopping by to wish everyone a wonderful Easter Sunday! I hope our friends up north are having some warmer weather too. It has been such fun sharing all of the photos of easter bonnets and spring flowers in our yards the past two months as well. Speaking of easter bonnets, I watched the old movie, Easter Bonnet, starring Judy Garland and Fred Astair last night for the (blush) first time. This is where they sing the famous Irving Berlin song, In your Easter Bonnet. LOL!! I am a bit late to figuring this all out, don't you think? What lovely old movie made in 1948 and a perfect bit of easter nostalgia for those of us who remember always wearing hats on Easter Sunday.

I am imagining hams cooking, vases of daffodils and tulips on tables, favorite casseroles, and desserts featuring all kinds of cute easter themes are going to be enjoyed today at Farmgirl homes from coast to coast!

I hope there is some chocolate eggs scattered around from coast to coast as well!

Here is a little basket of eggs that I dyed for breakfast this morning. The little chicks were made from yarn by my mom decades ago.

Happy Easter Everyone!!

I hope everyone had a nice Easter today. It was gorgeous here, sunny and 80. Hard to believe we had 28 and a snowstorm on Tuesday. There were lots of smiling, happy families at church and walking around the neighborhood today. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful Easter Sunday!

Happy Easter! I hope you all had a great day as we did. Everyone divvied up the left overs and we easily fit our portion in the fridge. Now all families have leftovers for the next couple of days. One bonus is that the 12 year old boy, who loves to dig, helped DH take out two small trees that rabbits had eaten to smitherines and needed to be replaced.

Happy Easter to you too. This will be the first year that I won't be having my kids and grands over for dinner and an Easter Egg hunt. I am a little bummed but time marches on and others have to make their own traditions too.
Yawl have a FUN day. MB

Happy Easter, Farmgirl Friends!
Winnie, those eggs are such pretty vivid colors! I've never seen that movie either. We will have dinner at my daughter's.
