Posted - Oct 05 2006 : 8:53:12 PM Tasha, I immediately thought of you when I pulled out this fall decoration today:
I know that there is a lot more to a country witch than meets the eye and that THIS is not what you'll see anyway! I just love the old style witch though. We picked her up in the Black Forest in Germany, so she's my classic "Hansel & Gretel" type witch.
I just thought you'd get a kick out of her!

Posted - Oct 06 2006 : 08:17:17 AM The part that you can see in the photo is about 8" tall, then the broomstick goes up about another 8-10" or so. It's just a witch head on a mini-broomstick, a wall-hanging. She's hanging on the windows over our dining room buffet now. I just love her and am glad you all do too!
Happy Halloween-y!

Posted - Oct 06 2006 : 06:29:48 AM I do I do!!! I love weird old witches like that. I have a collection going and have amassed quite a few. I get a kick out of what Witches are made out to look like so that little children are scared...Just love it!! Very cute~
