Posted - Oct 24 2012 : 6:10:16 PM Hi girls -
Let's share some pics of some of our favorite autumn things!
Recently my family and some good friends got together on a very chilly, rainy autumn day to go apple picking at one of our favorite fall places, Simmons Farm in McMurray, PA. We had a wonderful time! Not only did we pick almost two bushels of apples for canning, pie-making and eating, we took in all the wonderful sights and sounds of their fall festivities! I hope you'll enjoy some of our favorites, too, pictured below!
It sure would be nice if we could all be together to celebrate this wonderful time of year, wouldn't it? Since we can't, won't you please share some pics of your favorite autumn celebrations, too? I am so excited to see what's happening in your neck of the woods this time of year!

Posted - Oct 30 2012 : 11:20:56 AM I love all of these pictures. It is cold and rainy/snowy here today but, I just love it. Nini, on your apple pie filling do you can it? I wanted to this year but, needed something that I could not find here. I can't remember the name but, will re look for the recipe. It was a thickener and I searched for it everywhere and could not locate it. If you have a good recipe and could share it that would be great.
thanks, delicia |
