Those towels are cute! We don't get trick or treaters at my house--people are scared to walk past the graveyard at night. Go figure, lol.

Diane, love your decorating! Halloween is one of my favourite holidays! I stitched up these towels for the occasion!

I've been into a hand work mood as of late. I've hand stitched towels for a few holidays and what not! I guess you can say I've been a stitching fool! lol

Halloween was somewhat disappointing in my neighbourhood! Only 8 kids showed up! Way down from last year! Has anyone seen the numbers of trick a treater drop? Just curious!

Keep well everyone!

We got our stuff put up on Wednesday. I still need to get pumpkins for the monsters... If I get them to early then the squirrels eat them. So we get them a day or two before and carve. Then once all the Halloween stuff comes down, we put out all the lights for Christmas... but don't turn them on until Thanksgiving night. We have to do that because the weather around here can be pretty erratic.

I love everyone's decorating ideas. I don't do Halloween, but I have all my fall stuff up. I too will start Xmas the day after Thanksgiving. Sometimes before, depending on who is going to be home and when. Then I leave all the snowmen and winter stuff out until spring.

I don't have any young children anymore but I still love Halloween. Just not too scary!
I made this huge furry spider about five years ago and have fun putting her out in her web every year.
I also like to stack up pumpkins in my bird bath and top them with a raven.

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Nope. I do a "fall" decor for all of October and November.

I did however, buy a white artificial tree for my bathroom this year. I've been wanting one for 4 years now. I have a large bathroom (waste of space if you ask me) and I want a tree in there, since there is no room in my kitchen. I barely have room in my front room too, but will have one there also.

Marly,
They do the JOL face on the round rolls here ... it really is a cute idea!
And the onlt thing I like at Halloween now is the candy ... really, that is what I have always liked about it!

Teri, I saw someone spray paint the end of a round bale of hay orange, and then painted a pumpkin over the orange. It was cute.
No one comes out here anymore to trick or treat. The neighborhood kids are all grown. I still wait for one to show up. I don't put up a lot outside, but inside I'll put a few things. I do it just for me and my hubby to enjoy.

Marly,
Now that my son is ... ummmmmm 37 years old and lives in another state, and we live so far out that no body comes for trick or treat, I don't do any Halloween decorating. Just fall items that will get me through to Christmas decorating that starts the day after Thanksgiving.

My big Fall wreath is on the front porch and a few mums. I don't do the Halloween thing anymore, maybe a pumpkin.

I should have checked the spelling. Sorry.
Winnie, I usually put my Halloween stuff out earlier, but didn't this year. October 1st will be the decorating day.

Me~!! I put most of mine out two weeks ago!! Grin!! My stuff is a generic mix of fall with pumpkins and scarecrows so it all works from September onward. I do have a few specific halloween items like coffee mugs that I waited until to day to bring out. Go for it!
