Posted - Dec 19 2011 : 10:58:08 AMOh my goodness - I love it! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have a bag full of truffle molds I bought at Goodwill, and now I know what to make with the rest. What a neat idea!

Posted - Dec 21 2011 : 04:32:58 AMThe ornament that Mary Jane showed looks like what my mother in law gave me to make the norweigan cookie Sandbakkels. My husband's grandparents immigrated from Norway and the molds belonged to her. DHs Mom gave them to me because I love to cook and they are my family's favorite Christmas cookie: sugar, butter, flour, butter and almond extract. Yum!! My molds come in various shapes but they are all variations on the photo example. I have a cookie tin full of some now just waiting for this weekend!! My molds are staying in their cookie tin for MORE Cookie making. Hmmm, maybe I could sneak one with my morning coffee????? Cook's perogative! LOL!
