The Mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico has a very odd pic on his Christmas Card this year. Thoughts?
Have you ever received an odd card from family or friends?

Posted - Dec 22 2011 : 10:14:11 AM I LOVE that site Jonni....It's comforting seeing "others" out there with "normal" family photos. Although this year I could have posted the one sent to me by my SIL...We are still trying to figure out if it was a joke or not!
....Very funny story about the bank pres! I know the feeling about laughing so hard you think you are going to pee!

Jonni - I LOL when I look at those awkward family photos... Too funny. Ellen Degeneres has funny photos on her Facebook page too.

Posted - Dec 15 2011 : 07:23:45 AM Yikes... The lion is supposed to lie down with the lamb... The cheetah is not supposed to slaughter the gazelle! Eghads... What kind of message is that supposed to be... "Happy holidays - but watch out, they might kill you"??? Blech...
Some people just do the "anti-Christmas" thing. I have a friend who does whatever he can to make it gaudy.. the gaudier and less religious the better for him. It's just his way of rebelling, I suppose.
Well, it gives us something to talk about after Christmas dinner over coffee and dessert, huh? ;)

Posted - Dec 15 2011 : 05:55:30 AM I thought that was very odd after seeing it on Yahoo. Has anyone ever checked out Awkwardfamilyphotos.com? One of my FAVORITE websites. The family pictures submitted there should never have seen the light of day, but are good for an "Oh my. WHAT were they thinking?!" or simply walking away from the computer screen out of embarrassment or that you're laughing so hard you have to pee.
When I first started working for a bank, owned regionally in Kentucky, called Huntington, it was in the summer and the weeks before Christmas brought a photo Christmas card of this elderly balding man, a wife with big gaudy jewelry, a preppy son and an equally preppy college age daughter on some fancy boat, all resplendantly tan with perfect white teeth, signed "Happy Holidays to all, Mel and Family". I looked at the envelope--yep, addressed to me. No return addy, and I had never seen these people before in my entire lifetime. Not ONE of them. For weeks I tried to figure it out and mentioned it to a co-worker as a joke. Turns out, it was the President of the bank....?

Posted - Dec 15 2011 : 04:44:41 AM How odd. It says he did it to promote the Wildlife Museum - perhaps he should have said that on there.
We got a Christmas card from a single niece (adult) With all these kids in it - she doesn't have any. She was not in it at all.
