Posted - Dec 16 2011 : 04:04:12 AM Ha ha....kinda makes you feel like you are losing your mind doesnt it? I have presents hidden all over my house- upstairs and downstairs, and I am constantly playing over in my mind, where I hid what. Every once in a while I panic, because I cant remember where I put such and such. I have forgotten an item here and there over the years, in fact one year I hid something for my husband and didnt find it for almost a year! I try and keep a list in my pocketbook with everything I have purchased for my kids and hubby, so that when wrapping time comes I can start my scavenger hunt. I'm happy to see I am ot the only crazy one out there! Merry Christmas!

Posted - Dec 14 2011 : 4:38:21 PM My Mom constantly does that. She'll be sitting there while we're opening presents with a "look" on her face & we'll be like "so what are you missing now?" Of course, she won't say what it was, just that there was something else that should be out & wrapped, but she doesn't know where it is. Sometimes she'll give it to us early in the year, but most times she'll just wait til Christmas next year.
I solved my problem of doing that by putting Christmas presents all in a rubbermaid container in my closet. Much easier. And since everyone is so different, I don't have to worry about getting them mixed up or anything. Works really great if you buy early or lots of little things. Glad you found your lost gift.
Life isn't about finding yourself. It's about creating yourself.

Posted - Dec 14 2011 : 1:39:41 PM I found it in a place all on it's own away from the rest of the presents. No clue why I put it where I did. I'm glad I found it! I'm menopausal and often "organize" things and then forget where I put them. Once I looked all over the house for something I had on my hand!

Posted - Dec 14 2011 : 1:19:07 PM I had to give one person two gifts one year because I had forgotten it the year before. I still lose things because I forget that I got something and then I get something else.
