Posted - Nov 23 2011 : 05:07:29 AM I would love to line my walk this Christmas with my blue mason jars with a candle inside. Dh is concerned that the heat of the candle and the cold of outdoors would shatter the jars. What do you think?
I told him that you can freeze foods in the canning jars, that I don't see an issue. But told him I would find out for sure.
Sure would look pretty in the snow. ![](icons/icon_smile_big.gif)

Posted - Nov 23 2011 : 05:21:50 AM I have done this before and it worked fine; only I live in Texas and it doesn't get as cold here. It was really something, one night the electricity went out all over town and the only decorations glowing were my luminaries. Cathy
