Posted - May 07 2011 : 05:11:57 AM Nora and I are going to the new barn and are going to pack a picnic lunch. Then we are going hit the trail with Tala and Sky and spend the day exploring some trails and such at Tala's new barn. It should be nice and I am sure I will have tons of pictures to share.
What I would really like to get for mother's day? A clean house!

Posted - May 05 2011 : 07:46:28 AM We've settled it: for Mother's Day, my husband is cooking brunch (preferably a spinach, goat cheese and proscuitto omlette, some goetta and potatoes) and we are going to the Behringer Crawford museum, which houses a large collection of local Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati history from the paleolithithic era to the 1940's. Later, we'll go to one of my husband's Aunt's houses in Cincy to visit his grandmother and have an early supper. It appears that it's going to rain, rain, rain, so being inside will be great!

Posted - Apr 27 2011 : 1:32:35 PM Sobriety for my oldest. Happiness, success and peace for my youngest. A long healthy, happy life for my GDs and world peace for me. :) LOL I would be happy with a bit of pretty weather and a picnic with my family. I'd even be willing to do the cooking. I'm dreaming of a lazy afternoon laying on a blanket in the shade of a big tree, listening to my GD's laughter and chatter with my eyes closed and my hand in my honeys'. It could happen, really it could. Hum, if the weather will cooperate I have a plan! Connie

Posted - Apr 26 2011 : 06:46:28 AM My "dream gift"? This initial pendant from the Pretty Peacock on etsy. My "probably will get" gift? A lovely lunch and some flowers. My husband never quite understands the concept of links I sent to him via email, and doesn't realize that I'm not about deadlines--so you didn't order the pendant until the day before? I don't care, give me the receipt in a pretty box !!!
