Posted - Jan 11 2011 : 1:36:54 PM I just found a wonderful Valentine's Day Embroidery project by Flamingo Toes http://www.flamingotoes.com/2011/01/ps-i-love-you/
The design is a 5 x 7" piece of notebook paper that has "p.s. I love you" written on it. Very cute and Flamingo Toes has an easy-to-follow tutorial that you can follow.
I just got through stitching the ruled lines on 4 "pages" and I ready to embroider the message to each of my special valentines.

Posted - Jan 11 2011 : 1:42:26 PM I love these! I wanted to make these last year, but ran out of time.
A few years back (I actually earned my embroidery Mary Jane's merit badge for it) I made my husband a lavender and hops pillow for under his bed pillow as he was having trouble sleeping. Since it was a Valentine's Day gift, I made it like this:

The bee was free hand, but the script was traced from a stencil. The backing material was a black and white toile. He loved it, still today uses it!
