How does your family spend the last hoo-rah of summer? Barbeque,swimming,shopping? No work or school for the day is always a plus:) |

Well I want to know where summer went too!
We went over and spent Sunday at the coast, then barbequed here at home on Monday. Had family over.

We are weeding and putting in the fall garden. Summer gone but fall is just starting and it is a beautful time of year. Lilly

Amen to the where did summer go thing! I've already started high school, so I had homework this weekend:( But today I'm going to relax!

I second that...where did summer go? We had a very hot summer. We spent time in the yard doing work so spring clean up will be a bit lighter, relaxed in the hammock, grilling on Monday with anyone who stops by. cleaned out garage as well.
Appreciate the little things, for they are not really that little. |

Where did the Summer go?
It will be a quiet holiday for us-Our street has been closed for almost two weeks now (new water main, sewer, curb, sidewalks and black top from the ground up) and won't be open until November so traffic is zero-
...I just keep thinking about all those summer salads I wanted to prepare and never got around too-LOL!

We were considering going camping that weekend. Which I kind of dread. Holiday weekend camping brings out the rowdy campers.
Normally we just bbq with family. I do have enough fish in my freezer to have a fish fry. Maybe we'll do that instead.
