Merry Christmas to all farmgirls. We are in the midst of a winter storm, and I will have to go out for midnight Mass tonight. Luckily have 4 wheel drive. Unfortunately not in the Christmas spirit, was hoping to have my family here tomorrow, but a close relative has just gotten a pink slip from his job, and isn't feeling up to it. He has a family and it's just not a good time. He has over 20 yrs. on the job; he is not the only one, more than 200 people in our County just found out their jobs will be eliminated, though many who have their jobs due to "who they know" will not be let go. It kind of takes the "fun" out of the holidays.
